Canada transfers mine clearance equipment to Ukraine
Canada has provided Ukraine with mine clearance vehicles totaling CAD 22.5 million, the Canadian Embassy in Ukraine reported.
"The State Emergency Service of Ukraine received from Canada the first equipment for mine clearance in the framework of assistance in the amount of CAD 22.5 million," the message posted on Facebook says.
The equipment will be used to clean up agricultural land to return it to productive use and to help restore food security.
