Bodies of two dead amid night air strike in Vovchansk found under rubble
In Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, rescuers pulled out from under the rubble the bodies of a man and a woman who died as a result of an airstrike carried out on the town late in the evening on April 18.
"The bodies of a man (born in 1972) and a woman (born in 1978) have been found," the press service of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv region reported.
As previously reported, on April 18, after 22:00, the occupiers carried out an air strike on the center of Vovchansk and provoked a number of fires. In particular, two residential buildings, a summer kitchen, two buildings in the yard on a total area of 500 square meters burned. Ten more neighboring houses were damaged. A married couple (68 and 54 years old) received injuries. They were provided medical assistance on the spot.
In addition, about 60 trade pavilions on an area of 1,000 square meters burned on the market. About 150 more pavilions were also damaged by fire and blast waves.
All foci of combustion were eliminated at 4:00.
