President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will take part in the Summit for Democracy.
"We are already preparing for an important international event that will take place this week at the initiative of President Biden and the United States. Summit for Democracy. Ukraine will participate. Our position in support of freedom will sound strong, as always," he said in a video message on Monday.
On March 29-30, 2023, the United States will organize the second Summit for Democracy, designed to discuss the challenges that democracy faces in the world and ways to resist autocratic regimes.
New participants will join the second summit - representatives of Costa Rica, the Netherlands, South Korea and Zambia. The event will be held with the participation of U.S. President Joe Biden and two dozen officials from his administration.
