As result of explosion in temporarily occupied Crimea, Russian Kalibr-NK missiles destroyed – Intelligence Agency
As a result of an explosion in the temporarily occupied town of Dzhankoy in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Kalibr-NK cruise missiles of Russian invaders have been destroyed, the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.
"An explosion in the town of Dzhankoy in the north of the temporarily occupied Crimea destroyed Russian Kalibr-NK cruise missiles while they were being transported by rail," the agency said in the Telegram channel on Monday evening.
It is noted that Kalibr-NK missiles are designed for launches from surface ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The range of destruction of such missiles is more than 2,500 kilometers for ground targets and more than 375 kilometers for sea targets.
"The mysterious cotton' continues the process of demilitarization of Russia and prepares the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea for de-occupation," the agency said.
