Two bulk carriers carrying Ukrainian corn heading for Spain, the Netherlands
Two bulk carriers with nearly 95,000 tonnes of corn left Ukrainian ports on Sunday, the Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) has said.
According to JCC, the Amber S vessel will deliver 43,226 tonnes of corn to Spain. The Yasa Emirhan vessel will ship 51,500 tonnes of corn to the Netherlands.
Five vessels are heading to the Ukrainian ports, it said.
"Total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports - 22,327,620 tonnes. Total number of voyages enabled – 1,524," the JCC said.
"Some 105 applications for participation in the Initiative have been submitted," the JCC said.
