Share of domestic manufacturers in Army of Drones exceeds 60% – minister

The Army of Drones project has contracted 1,711 drones within the framework of the UNITED24 platform, of which 1,056 or 61.7% are drones from Ukrainian manufacturers, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said in his Telegram channel.

"Now there are almost 1,000 "birds" of the Army of Drones at the front. A total of 1,711 UAVs have been contracted. Of these, 1,056 are drones of Ukrainian manufacturers," Fedorov wrote, posting a video of the destruction of Russian equipment by drones near Kherson.

According to him, the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff and the State Special Communications Service analyze the success of each type of UAV in order to create the most effective army of drones.

Earlier, with reference to the conference on UAVs on January 14, it was reported that the Army of Drones project within the UNITED24 platform helped to contract 1,600 drones valued at UAH 3.3 billion, and some of them were manufactured by Ukrainian manufacturers.
