Next Ukraine Recovery Conference to be held in London in June 2023 – PM
The next Ukraine Recovery Conference will be held in London (the UK) in June 2023, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"The next Ukraine Recovery Conference will take place this June in London... We appreciate the decision of the UK to host it this year. We expect to mobilise international support for the reconstruction," Shmyhal wrote on Twitter following his online speech at the forum in Davos.
The Prime Minister also said in his Telegram channel that Ukraine expects the next conference to mobilise international support for a speedy recovery.
"We also expect a clear definition of the resources through which the recovery will take place. The aggressor should bear the main compensation for the damage. To hold Russia accountable for crimes, it's important to develop appropriate mechanisms of international law," he said.
