Riga donates ten buses to Ukrainian capital – Klitschko
The Kyiv city bus fleet will be replenished with ten modern buses donated by Riga, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
"Ten modern city buses left Riga for Kyiv today. This is the aid of our Latvian friends. The buses also carry humanitarian aid, which was collected by the citizens of Latvia," Klitschko wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.
"The head of the Latvian Seimas, Edvards Smiltēns, headed the delegation to Kyiv. At the end of April last year, he, then Vice Mayor of Riga, already came to the capital of Ukraine and handed over 11 buses and humanitarian aid from Riga. All buses received by Kyiv then operate on the routes of the capital," Klitschko said.
