Water supply halted throughout Kyiv because of shelling - Klitschko

Water supply was suspended on Wednesday throughout the territory of Kyiv due to Russian shelling, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.

"Due to shelling, water supplies have been suspended throughout Kyiv. Kyivvodokanal specialists are working to restore it as soon as possible," he said on Telegram.

At the same time, the mayor urged the people of Kyiv to stock up on water just in case.

"Specialists are doing everything possible to return water to the homes of Kyiv residents. Power engineers are also working to restore energy supply in the capital," Klitschko added.
