Zelensky in phone talk with new British PM invites him to visit Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with the new British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Tuesday.
"Just before writing this address, I spoke with new British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. I believe that the partnership between our states and the already traditional British leadership in defending democracy and freedom will only grow further," he said in a video statement on Tuesday evening.
"Ukraine and Britain have achieved better relations as of now, but still we still have the potential to increase our cooperation in order to give more benefit to our societies. I invited the Prime Minister to visit Ukraine," Zelensky said.
