Ukrzaliznytsia warns of possible delays for western-bound trains, Kyiv railway station continues to operate
Ukrzaliznytsia warns of the possibility of delaying western-bound trains due to damage to the contact network.
"Reserve diesel locomotives are already preparing to provide continuous movement," the company said in a statement on Monday morning.
In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia reported damage to the windows of the central station building in Kyiv, but the station itself continues to work.
"Disembarkation and boarding of trains is carried out through the western and eastern underpasses, which serve as a shelter," Ukrzaliznytsia said.
"We turn on iron nerves and continue to move," the company said.
