Joint customs control at border with Poland to significantly speed up border procedures - Zelensky
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that following the visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to Kyiv, a decision was made on joint customs control.
"A decision has been reached that revolutionizes the order on our border. We are introducing joint customs control with Poland. This will significantly speed up the passage of procedures at the border," Zelensky said in a traditional video message on Sunday evening.
According to him, as a result, "we are removing most of the corruption risks, and this is also the beginning of our integration into the common customs space of the European Union."
"A truly historic process," he said.
