Visit of delegation of US senators to Ukraine demonstrates strength of bipartisan support – Zelensky
The visit to Ukraine of a delegation of senators led by the leader of the Republican minority in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, demonstrates the strength of bipartisan support, strong ties between Ukraine and the American people, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Saturday evening.
"We discussed various areas of support for our country, including defense and finance, as well as strengthening sanctions against Russia. I thanked him for the historic decision on lend-lease, called for Russia to be officially recognized as a terrorist state," he said.
