Russian invaders continue shelling Zolote, Hirske in Luhansk region
Russian occupiers are shelling Zolote and Hirske (Luhansk region), which began the night before and continued throughout the night. The housing stock and infrastructure have been damaged in the shelling, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai has said.
"We are negotiating a ceasefire every day to save more people. However, the Russians are indifferent to the civilian population – entire districts of "strategic" residential buildings in Rubizhne and Severodonetsk have been shelled, heavy damages in Popasna and Hirska communities. The latter is being wiped by the enemy, destroying the cities of Zolote and Hirske. The shelling of these settlements began on the evening of April 6 and lasted all night, and continues to this day," Haidai said.
"A lot of destroyed objects – both in the housing stock and in infrastructure. Rescue teams are working," he said.
