Demining work continues in Chernihiv region, roads are dangerous
In Chernihiv region, work to clear roads is underway, local residents should refrain from traveling around the region, head of Chernihiv regional military administration Viacheslav Chaus reported.
"We have a lot of work and a lot of mined roads, a lot of destroyed communications in the region, a lot of broken bridges. Now the Highway Service, the military, the administration are engaged in providing, organizing routes throughout the territory so that we can restore normal traffic as soon as possible and be able to get to any corner of Chernihiv region," head of Chernihiv regional military administration said in his video message on the Telegram channel on Monday.
He urged local residents to wait until the demining work is completed.
"An appeal to all residents of the region, especially where Russian tanks were stationed: the Muscovite abomination left, but they mined everything around. Therefore, I have a big request: have patience and wait until the Armed Forces, engineers and sappers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carry out mine clearance. This is very important, because we must avoid new victims," Chaus said.
