Head of Turkish Ministry of Defense announces readiness of country to take part in evacuation from Mariupol by sea
Turkey can take part in the evacuation of its citizens, as well as citizens of other countries, including Ukrainians, from Mariupol by sea, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said.
"On this issue, coordination with the authorities of the Russian Federation and Ukraine continues," the Turkish media quoted the minister as saying.
He noted: "We continue to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine. Turkey also provides support in the evacuation."
