USA preparing sanctions on most members of Russia's State Duma – media
The administration of U.S. President Joseph Biden is preparing sanctions on most members of the State Duma of Russia, according to U.S. officials and internal documents viewed by The Wall Street Journal.
Biden intends to announce the sanctions on more than 300 members of the Russian State Duma as soon as Thursday during his trip to Europe. The sanctions will be announced in coordination with the European Union and members of the Group of Seven industrialized nations. As reported, Biden will visit Brussels, where he will take part in NATO, EU and G-7 summits, and will also pay a visit to Warsaw.
