Talks with Russia continuing every day, 'moving forward step by step' – Zelensky
The negotiations with Russia have been "difficult, sometimes scandalous, but we have been moving forward step by step," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
These talks "have been continuing almost on a day-to-day basis," Zelensky said in a video address in the early hours of Wednesday.
"Are they difficult? Yes, they are very difficult, sometimes scandalous, but we have been moving forward step by step," he said.
Zelensky said that he is "grateful to all international mediators who are standing up for Ukraine, for Europe, for the truth, who bring the real picture to Moscow and call for a realistic look at what is happening in the battles and the fact that the world will not stop defending our truth."
