Zelensky to take part in NATO summit on March 24 via video format – presidential press secretary
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in a NATO summit on March 24 via video format, press secretary of the head of state Serhiy Nykyforov has said.
"Ukraine will take an active part there. We are still determining which one. At a minimum, this will be an address by the president, and at a maximum, full participation, of course, in video format. The format of participation will be known in the coming days," Nykyforov said on the air of the telethon during Tuesday.
Zelensky, according to him, at the summit will talk about the need to stop Russia's war crimes against the Ukrainian population and civilian infrastructure.
"This can be done in several ways – close the sky, provide Ukraine with powerful air defense and aviation ... They will not talk about new security formats [for Ukraine]," he added.
