Russian missile flying towards Kropyvnytsky shot down over Mykolaiv region
Soldiers of the air defense unit of the 80th Airborne Division of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday shot down a Russian missile flying towards Kropyvnytsky over Mykolaiv region, the Command of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.
"During combat duty, an air defense unit in the sky over one of the settlements of Mykolaiv region recorded a Russian cruise missile flying in the direction of Kropyvnytsky and with an accurate shot from the Igla MANPADS destroyed it," the Command said on Facebook.
The missile was loaded with 400 kg of TNT.
