China to provide Ukraine with extra CNY 10 mln in aid – media
The Chinese Foreign Ministry said the Red Cross Society of China will provide Ukraine with additional CNY 10 million (GBP 1.1 million) in humanitarian aid, Sky News reports.
As the newspaper notes, this came after U.S. President Joe Biden warned of the "costs" of any assistance that China could provide to Russia's military efforts in Ukraine.
According to the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine, this is the assistance provided by the Chinese side, taking into account the development of the current situation and relevant needs. China will continue to play a constructive role in de-escalating the conflict in Ukraine and is ready to make efforts to overcome the humanitarian crisis.
