The Ministry of Education and Science states that since the beginning of the war, Russian troops have damaged or destroyed 489 educational institutions.

"Some 489 educational institutions suffered from bombing and shelling, 69 of which were completely destroyed," according to the data of the website of the ministry for monitoring the damage from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
