Man, nine-year-old child killed in Kharkiv as result of enemy shelling – Synehubov
An adult and a child were killed in Kharkiv as a result of shelling in the Kharkiv Tractor Plant area, Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov said.
"As a result of the last shelling in Kharkiv, in the area of Kharkiv Tractor Plant, civilians were killed, a man and a nine-year-old child. We offer sincere condolences to the relatives," Synehubov said in his Telegram channel.
He also said that in some areas the Ukrainian soldiers had launched a counterattack, and on the distant approaches to Kharkiv, enemy columns were being smashed.
"Information has just appeared about the next victories of the National Guard of Ukraine in Kharkiv region. Today, in Derhachiv district, the mobile unit of the National Guard entered the battle with the invaders. As a result, the Ukrainian military destroyed a large number of manpower and equipment of the Russian enemy. Details about the losses of the occupier are being established," Synehubov said.
"The Russians have not yet understood that they have no place on Ukrainian soil, where a courageous army is fighting for its own. We will avenge everyone who gave their lives in the fight against the aggressor!" he said.
