In Podilsky district of Kyiv, five-storey building on fire from hit by downed rocket, one person dies - Emergency Service
A fire in a residential building in Podilsky district of Kyiv occurred as a result of a hit by the remnants of a downed rocket on Friday morning, according to the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"There was a fire from the first to the third floor... According to preliminary information, 12 people were rescued, 98 people were evacuated, 4 people were injured. Unfortunately, one person died," the report says.
Information about the fire was received by rescuers at 08:04. Firefighting is currently ongoing. Eight units of fire equipment and 47 personnel are involved at the scene.
