Over 5,600 tonnes of humanitarian cargo cross Ukraine's border over past day – customs
Over 5,600 tonnes of humanitarian cargo crossed the border of Ukraine over the past day, the State Customs Service reported.
"Vehicles, medical tents, flashlights and thermal imagers are brought into the country as humanitarian aid – a total of over 5,600 tonnes over the past day," the customs said on its Telegram channel on Thursday.
The largest volume of cargo passed through Lviv customs – 2,750 tonnes, through Zakarpattia and Volyn – more than 1,000 tonnes.
Among the cargoes are also generators, thermal imagers, clothes, shoes, food, and medicines, the service specified.
As reported, on March 14, the customs reported on the clearance of 4,600 tonnes of humanitarian aid, and on March 15 – 5,600 tonnes.
