Estonia raises EUR 700,000 to help Ukraine – embassy
During a charity concert in Estonia, EUR 700,000 were collected to help Ukraine, the Estonian embassy in Ukraine has reported.
"More than 700 000 euros were raised during the SlavaUkraini charity concert organised by Estonian musicians & volunteers in Tallinn," the embassy said in Twitter on Thursday.
The donations collected will be used to purchase ambulances and minibuses, equip them with the necessary things and send immediately to the cities where this help is needed urgently.
"We share the pain of the thousands of people who have been killed and the millions who have fled," Estonian President Alar Karis said.
