In Chernihiv, 53 people killed under Russian shelling over day – local authorities

Some 53 people were killed on Wednesday as a result of the shelling of Chernihiv by the Russian occupation troops, Head of Chernihiv regional military administration Viacheslav Chaus has said.

"The enemy continues systematic artillery and air attacks on our regional center, destroying civilian infrastructure. We are suffering heavy losses. Just yesterday, some 53 bodies of our citizens, who died, who were killed by the Russian aggressor, arrived at the city's morgues. And for each of our citizens, we will revenge and kill," Chaus said in a video statement posted on Telegram on Thursday morning.
