Zelensky agrees with President of European Commission to support Ukrainian TDPs
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in a conversation with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, agreed to support Ukrainian citizens - temporarily displaced persons (TDPs).
In a video message on Thursday night, he also said that "during the day he spoke with friends of Ukraine – Turkish President [Recep Tayyip] Erdogan and Canadian Prime Minister [Justin] Trudeau. Thanks for the support. We agreed on new steps for the sake of peace for our country." According to him, in a conversation with Prime Minister of Ireland Micheál Martin he expressed condolences over the murder of an Irish citizen, journalist Pierre Zakrzewski, by the Russian military.
"On Thursday morning I will address the German parliament. I will continue to fight for even more support for Ukraine, for even more pressure on Russia," the President of Ukraine said.
