President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Peter Maurer said he came to Kyiv to speak with communities and authorities so that the ICRC can increase access and neutral and impartial humanitarian work.
"I have arrived in Kyiv. I am here to speak with communities and authorities so ICRC can expand our access and neutral and impartial humanitarian work. People in Ukraine are crying out for help. Needs are massive, conditions volatile. We are sparing no effort to answer their call," Maurer said on Wednesday.
