Rada accelerates entry into force of law on military chaplaincy
The Verkhovna Rada has accelerated the entry into force of the law on military chaplaincy, the website of the Verkhovna Rada reports.
Corresponding bill No. 7130 on amending the final provisions of the law "On the Military Chaplaincy Service" regarding the date of entry into force, the MPs adopted as a whole at the plenary session on Tuesday.
“Now it immediately comes into force,” one of the authors of the bill Yaroslav Zheleznyak (Holos faction) wrote on Telegram. According to him, 340 MPs voted for the bill.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law "On the military chaplaincy service" on November 30, 2021, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed it on December 17. The law was supposed to come into force on July 1, 2022.
