Occupiers fire at column of civilians during evacuation from Hostomel, woman killed – police
On Monday, the Russian aggressor fired at one of the columns with civilians who were evacuated from Hostomel, one woman died on the spot, the National Police of Ukraine said.
"The evacuation from Hostomel took place in two stages. The first convoy of ten buses, which were mostly mothers with children, the elderly and people with disabilities, successfully reached their destination. Russian troops fired mortars at another convoy of four buses. As a result of the shelling, the driver of one of the buses was wounded. Also under fire in the convoy was a Volkswagen car with injured spouses. Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene," the police said in the Telegram channel.
The rest of the citizens in the convoy, which was under fire, continued to move and got to a safe place.
