Rocket of Russian troops shot down over Podil district in Kyiv, remains fell on house – Gerashchenko

Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko has said that a cruise missile fired by Russian troops was shot down over the Podil district in Kyiv, the remains of the rocket fell on a house.

"20 minutes ago, our air defense worked over Kyiv. They shot down a rocket. The remains fell into the house on Podil. Thanks to our valiant air defense!” Gerashchenko wrote.

A little later, he added: "The remains of a downed Russian fascist cruise missile fell in the Kurenivka residential area."
