Our goal in negotiations with Russia to get result, for us, for peace, for security – Zelensky
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyhas has said that the goal of negotiations with Russia is to get the necessary result – "for us, for peace and security."
"It is clear that this is a difficult story, a difficult path. But the path is needed. And our goal is for Ukraine to get the necessary result in this struggle, in this difficult negotiation work. It is necessary for us, for peace and security," he said in a video message on night on Sunday.
According to him, "every day, representatives of the delegations of our countries speak in video format. Our delegation has a clear task – to do everything so that the meeting of the presidents takes place, a meeting that, I am sure, people are waiting for."
The goal of the talks is also, according to him, "so that we have guarantees – normal, effective. Not like in Budapest and not like in our sky. But such that Ukrainians can say: this is working, these are guarantees."
