Ukraine will service the public debt, it will not be written off, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy Danylo Hetmantsev said.

"The Minister of Finance should decide on the state debt, this is his decision... He has enough information for this. I can say one thing - the debt will not be written off," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine, answering a question about potential debt restructuring.
