President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Joe Biden had a substantive conversation, the leaders agreed on further steps to provide defense-related support to Ukraine and sanctions against the Russian Federation.
"I had a substantive conversation with Joe Biden. I informed him about my assessment of the situation on the battlefield, about the crimes of the Russian Federation against the civilian population. We agreed on further steps to provide defense-related support to Ukraine and increase sanctions pressure on Russia," Zelensky wrote on his Twitter.
