Japan sends bulletproof vests, helmets to Ukraine – Ministry of Defense
Japan has sent aid to Ukraine to fight the Russian invasion, which includes bulletproof vests and helmets, the Japanese Ministry of Defense has reported.
"KC-767 landed on the airport in the neighbor countries of Ukraine. We truly hope that those items delivered to Ukraine 🇺🇦including JSDF's bulletproof vests serve as shields to protect lives of Ukrainian people fighting for their homeland," the ministry said on Twitter.
The ministry also reported that helmets were sent to Ukraine.
"C-2 aircraft carrying bulletproof vests and helmets for Ukraine departed from Miho Air base. C-2, following KC-767, will bring hope to Ukrainian people," the ministry said.
