EU prepares fourth package of sanctions against Russia – von der Leyen

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen says the European Union is preparing a fourth package of sanctions against Russia for the war it unleashed against Ukraine.

She made such a statement at the end of an informal EU summit in Versailles (France) on Friday.

Von der Leyen said the EU will come up with the fourth package of sanctions. These sanctions further isolate Russia from the global economic system, increasing the cost of Putin's takeover of Ukraine even more.
