Kharkiv regional prosecutors investigate Russian airstrike on Slobozhanske
The prosecutor's office of Kharkiv region announced that it had launched a pretrial investigation into an airstrike on a living house in the village of Slobozhanske on Wednesday.
"Under the procedural leadership of Kharkiv Regional prosecutorэs office, a pretrial investigation has been launched into a violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the office said on Facebook on Thursday.
According to the investigation, it is known that "on March 9, 2022, at about 11:30 p.m., Russian servicemen carried out an air strike on a two-story residential building in the village of Slobozhanske, Iziumsky district, Kharkiv region. As a result of the bombing, the building was completely destroyed. The bodies of two children and a woman have now been found."
Searches are underway for six people remaining under the rubble.
