Energoatom announced that it completely refuses to purchase nuclear fuel produced in the Russian Federation.

"Energoatom completely refuses to purchase Russian nuclear fuel," the company wrote on its Telegram channel on Friday.

A few months earlier, Energoatom announced that, if necessary, it would be able to negotiate with the American fuel producer Westinghouse to increase the production of fuel for nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
