Kuleba, Lavrov discuss ceasefire for 24 hours, but no progress on this issue
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed the issue of the 24-hour ceasefire, but made no progress on this issue.
"We also raised the issue of a 24-hour ceasefire to resolve the most pressing humanitarian issues. We did not make progress on this, since it seems that there are other decision-makers for this matter in Russia," Kuleba said at a press conference following the talks with Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey Sergei Lavrov and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Antalya on Thursday.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also said that in this regard, he wants to reaffirm that Ukraine has not surrendered, does not surrender and will not surrender.
"We are ready for diplomacy, we are looking for diplomatic solutions, but as long as there are none, we will selflessly, sacrificing ourselves, defend our land, our people from Russian aggression," Kuleba said.
