State to buy out grain, other stocks in annual volume at expense of state budget – Shmyhal
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal says that the state will buy out grain and other supplies in the amount of annual consumption by the whole country at the expense of the state budget.
"We are creating a food reserve. The state will buy out grain and other stocks in the volumes of annual consumption by the whole country at the expense of the state budget. This will provide the country with a sufficient amount of food," Shmyhal said in his address on Wednesday evening.
The prime minister noted that the government continues to expand the list of critical imports.
"We support the operation of critical infrastructure. We are doing everything to ensure that our army and rear are better resourced," he stressed.
