Zelensky, Scholz discuss peace talks, defense support
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz discussed the issues of defense support for Ukraine, sanctions pressure on Russia, peace talks and the European perspective of Ukraine.
"Discussed the course of peace talks with Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Stressed the importance of increasing defense support for Ukraine and sanctions pressure on Russia. Raised the issue of Ukraine's membership in the EU on the eve of the informal summit of European leaders," Zelensky said on Twitter on Thursday.
