Zelensky, UK's PM Johnson discuss sanctions against Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has discussed increased sanctions pressure on Russia and further support for Ukraine.
"I had another conversation with the Prime Minister of the UK. We discussed the strengthening of sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, further support for Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor, including defense assistance," the head of state wrote on his Twitter on Wednesday evening.
He said that he appreciates the leadership of the UK "in counteracting the crime that Russia is committing on Ukrainian land."
