Psaki: Washington will react if Russia decides to nationalize enterprises leaving its market
Washington will take action if Russia decides to confiscate the property of foreign enterprises that have left its market due to events in Ukraine, White House spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki said during a briefing on Wednesday.
"We welcomed the decisions of these companies (on leaving the Russian market), but we did not push them to this. If they (the Russian authorities) make such a decision (on nationalization), we will certainly take measures, but so far nothing this did not happen," Psaki said, answering a question from a journalist who asked for a comment on the nationalization proposals made in the Russian Federation.
