Ukraine's Defense Minister Reznikov to take part in extraordinary meeting of North Atlantic Council

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov will take part in an extraordinary meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of defense ministers, which will be held at a NATO headquarters on March 16.

This was reported by the press service of the organization on Wednesday.

The meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of defense ministers will take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. The ministers will meet in person. The meeting will be chaired by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. It will be attended by the Ministers of Defense of Georgia, Ukraine, Finland and Sweden, as well as the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

As expected, the defense ministers will discuss the security situation in the light of the war waged by Russia against Ukraine.

This will be the fifth extraordinary meeting of the North Atlantic Council this year, convened due to Russian aggression against Ukraine.
