There are medicines in warehouses, logistics being established – Health Ministry
First Deputy Minister of Health Oleksandr Komarida assures that there are enough medicines in Ukraine, the Ministry of Health, the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, together with market participants, are establishing logistics.
"There are medicines in the country. There are a lot of medicines in warehouses in Ukraine, there are medicines in customs-licensed warehouses. The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control has already begun issuing conclusions on medicines that are in customs-licensed warehouses, they will soon go to the pharmacy network," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
Komarida specified that "there were no direct imports of medicines during the war yet, but the stocks in the warehouses of distributors or in customs-licensed warehouses will last for 45-60 days without a new import."
Komarida also said that domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers are debugging the logistics of raw materials and there will be no shortage of domestic drugs.
