Russian occupiers bring Russian Guard units into Kherson region to clamp down on protests, over 400 Ukrainians detained – AFU General Staff
Due to the fierce resistance of the residents of Kherson region, who have been protesting against the Russian invaders for several days in a row, the latter have brought units of the Russian Guard into the region, which have already detained more than 400 Ukrainians, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on Wednesday.
"In connection with the fierce resistance of the inhabitants of Kherson, the occupiers are trying to introduce the administrative-police regime, for which the units of the Russian Guard have been introduced into Kherson region, which have illegally detained more than 400 citizens of Ukraine," the General Staff said on Facebook.
