One person dies, two injured from airstrike in Zhytomyr - Emergency Service
As a result of an air strike by Russian troops on Zhytomyr, a hostel was damaged, one person died, two were rescued with injuries, the State Emergency Service reports.
"At 20:10 on March 8, an airstrike hit the hostel. Rescuers of the State Emergency Service during search and rescue operations in the hostel building found one dead, two rescued people were injured," the State Emergency Service said on the Telegram channel.
According to the State Emergency Service, four units of equipment and 23 personnel of the emergency rescue team worked at the scene.
"Later, a fire broke out on the territory of the hostel. Currently, rescuers continue to extinguish separate fires on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hostel. Assistance is provided to residents of the hostel to evacuate property from the surviving premises," the message says.
