Oil depots caught fire in Zhytomyr, Cherniakhiv after airstrikes, no casualties – Emergency Service
Fires at oil depots in Zhytomyr and Cherniakhiv village of Zhytomyr region broke out on Monday evening at about 20:20 as a result of air strikes on them, according to the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In both cases, according to preliminary data, there were no victims or injured.
"In Zhytomyr, a reservoir with a capacity of ten cubic meters caught fire... Some 20 people and four units of the State Emergency Service equipment were involved in extinguishing. Two half-empty tanks ignited in the town of Cherniakhiv (the capacity is being specified). Residents were evacuated from nearby private residential buildings... Some 24 people and five pieces of equipment of the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing," the service said.
