Number of refugees from Ukraine exceeds 1.5 mln – UN
The number of refugees who left Ukraine after Russia launched a full-scale war on February 24 has exceeded 1.5 million people, UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi said on Saturday.
"More than 1.5 million refugees from Ukraine have crossed into neighbouring countries in 10 days – the fastest growing refugee crisis in Europe since World War II," he said in Twitter.
